Policy on enquiries through this website and Data Protection

If you make an enquiry to the College of Arms through this website or otherwise by email it will be directed to the officer on duty at the time of its receipt and may be held in electronic form in an automated system for up to three years from that date. Unless you have by then entered into a professional relationship as a client of the College or an officer of arms it will thereafter be deleted, and your name and the topic of your enquiry, broadly defined, will be retained centrally in an unstructured manual filing system. At no point will your enquiry or any personal data it contains be passed to third parties outside the College of Arms or used for marketing purposes.

For a full statement of the data protection policy of the College in regard to professional services offered, see here.

The College of Arms and its officers take seriously all obligations that they may be liable to under applicable data protection law.
